Pros:
1. Narhari Amin gets to see the door finally.
2. GCA gets an able administrator to rely on.
3. Cricketing fraternity may even decide to give NAMO the BCCI's presidency.
4. Sports other than cricket can benefit from the money generated by the Gujarat Cricket Association and other such boards in India (in case Namo showed the way).
Cons:
1. One more RAAJNETA to rob Indian sports.
2. Modi could not hope to assign more than the single weekly hour Sharad Pawar is reported to have spent at the BCCI.
3. Sportsmen/ women and fans had no direct say in cricket or other sports in India, and this will continue to be the case with NAMO heading the GCA.
4. Modi's entry can leave the Indian cricket highly politicized, with his detractors also camping inside the BCCI.
