It reminded me of the following somewhat off-topic incident, which fills the bill in the larger context anyway. </p> <p>I had once gone to Akashvani studio, Ahmedabad, to have a recording accomplished. The whole set up seemed to have been built nicely with a lot of state resources spent behind it. But as soon as the recording started, some people talking outside caught my attention. The sound engineer would ask me to continue though, saying that won&#39;t be audible in the recorded track. But, what about the person being recorded? How could he/ she focus on what he was working at? Somehow we finished the program. And when it was aired a few days later, I could hardly listen to my own voice with the clarity I had expected, leave alone the crowd outside.
